I'th Frenin Seion crêd o hyd

1,2,3,4,(5),6.
(Salm XLVI - Ail Rhan - I'w chanu ar
ddydd o ddiolchgarwch am heddwch gwladol)
I'th Frenin, Seion, crêd o hyd,
Er treiswyr a theyrnaswyr byd;
  Pan roddo'i hollalluog lef
  Y bobl a dawdd
      â'u terfysg gref.

Tros Jacob gynt ymladdodd Duw,
Duw Jacob etto'n cymhorth yw;
  Gwelwch weithredoedd ei law gref,
  Pa anghyfannedd waith wnaeth ef.

O fôr i fôr, o draeth i draeth,
Gostegu sŵn rhyfeloedd wnaeth;
  Pan ruo'i daran oddi draw,
  Daw'r bobl i hedd
      gan ofn a braw.

Y bwa a'r ffon fe'i
    tỳr yn fân,
Cerbydau a lysg â nefol dân;
  Trigolion daear oll dystewch,
  A'i ogoneddus lef gwrandewch.

"Peidiwch, a dysgwch, mi sydd Dduw,
Dyrchefir fi 'mysg dynol ryw;
  Adwaenir, ofnir fi
      trwy'r byd,
  Yn Seion mae ngorseddfa o hyd."

O Arglwydd, hollalluog Dduw,
Tra b'om mor agos i ti'n byw,
  Ein ffydd ddiofn a gân yn hŷ,
  Annogaeth i byrth
      uffern ddu.

(Psalm 46 - Part 2 - To be sung on a
day of thanksgiving for national peace)
To thy King, Zion, continue to believe,
Despite the world's oppressors and tyrants;
  When he gives his almighty cry
  The people shall melt
      with their strong tumult.

For Jacob of old God fought,
The God of Jacob is still our help;
  See ye the deeds of his strong hand,
  What desolate work he has done.

From sea to sea, from shore to shore,
Still the sound of battles he did;
  When his thunder roars from afar,
  The people come to peace
      by fear and terror.

The bow and the spear he
    breaks into pieces,
Chariots he burns with heavenly fire;
  All ye inhabitants of earth, be silent,
  To his glorious cry listen ye!

"Stop, and learn, 'tis I who am God,
I am exalted amongst human kind;
  I shall be known, feared,
      throughout the world,
  In Zion is my throne-room always."

O Lord, almighty God,
While we are living close to thee,
  Our faith fearless and song confident,
  Encouragement to the portals
      of black hell.
