1,3,4,7,5,6,11,12;  1,3,5,6,11,8;

Iesu, 'Mrenin mawr a'm Priod,
Bydd wrth raid / Imi'n blaid
  I orchfygu pechod.

Ti fu troswyf yn dyferu
    Chwys a gwaed, / 'Lawr i'th draed,
  Ynddo gad i'm olchi.

Tra f'wy'n trigo'n yr anialwch,
    Gwel'd yn wir / D'wyneb pur,
  Yw fy ngwir ddyddanwch.

Tua Salem euraid arwain
F'enaid llaith / Ar ei daith,
  Nes bo 'ngwaith yn gorffen.

Iesu, eisoes e'st a'm calon,
    F'enaid cu'n / Llechu sy'n
  Ddifrad rhwng dy ddwyfron.

Par im' aros mwy'n dy freichiau,
Boed fy nyth, / Ddedwydd fyth,
  Yn dy ddilyth glwyfau.

N'âd i'r gyfrwys ddraig fy nhwyllo
Ar un llaw, / Yma a thraw,
  Oddi wrthyt i ymado.

Nertha'm traed blinedig ddringad,
    Fyny o hyd, / Maes o'r byd
  Nes i'r nef im' ddwad.

Hiraeth sy ar fy nghalon dyner,
    Wel'd y dydd, / Fyn'd yn rhydd,
  Maes o'm poen a'm blinder.

Gwna fi farw, farw'n ddiau,
Marw i'r byd, / 'Nawr yn nghyd,
  A'i holl wael bleserau.

Pan fwy'n sengi llwybrau angau,
    Rhag pob braw  /  Rho dy law;
  Dangos im dy glwyfau.

Iesu! helpa f'enaid ddringo
    'N awr i'r làn / Tua'r màn
  Y câf byth breswylio.

Gwynfyd a f'ai heddyw'n canu,
'Mhlith y llu, / Sanctaidd fry,
  Sydd wedi gorchfygu.

(Bu dda genyf eistedd dan ei gysgod)
Iesu 'Mrenin mawr a' Mrïod,
Yn erbyn llu, / Bydd o'm tu,
  I orchfygu pechod.

Pâr i'm aros mwy'n dy freichiau,
Boed fy nyth, / Ddedwydd fyth,
  Yn dy ddilyth glwyfau.

Hiraeth sy' arnai yn ngwlad y nychdod,
    Wel'd y dydd, / Fyn'd yn rhydd,
  O'm cystudd a'm trallod.

Os gelynion 'ddaw i'm denu,
Gwna i mi'n ddwys, / Roi fy mhwys,
  I orphwys ar yr IESU.

Heddyw rhof fy mhwys ar ddwyfron,
IESU gwiw, / 'M Tywysog yw,
  Rhag pob rhyw elynion.

Uwch creaduriaid, IESU cadw,
Fy enaid llon, / Ger dy fron,
  Dirion nes fy marw.

Pan bwy'n sengyd llwybrau angeu,
Rhag pob braw / Rho dy law,
  Yna ni ddaw ofnau.

Gwel dy anwyl ŵyn yn 'madael,
   Bydd wrth raid, / I ni'n blaid,
  O Arglwydd paid a'n gadael.

(Fearing and Believing)

Jesus, my great King and my Spouse,
Be in need / On my side
  To overcome sin.

Thou didst shed for me
Sweat and blood, / Down to thy feet,
In it let me wash myself.

While I am climbing in the desert,
To see truly / Thy pure face,
  Is my true comfort.

Towards golden Salem lead
My timid soul / On its journey,
  Until the work be finished.

Jesus, already thou hast taken my heart,
My dear soul / Lurking is
  Guilelessly thee between thy breasts.

Cause me to stay evermore in thy arms,
May my nest be, / Happily forever,
  In thy unfailing wounds.

Do not let the crafty dragon deceive me
On either hand, / Here and there,
  From thee to depart.

Strengthen my exhausted feet to climb,
Up always, / Out of the world
  Until to heaven I come.

A longing is upon my tender heart,
To see thy day, / To go free,
Out of my pain and my weariness.

Make me die, die undoubtedly,
Die to the world, / Now altogether,
  And all its base pleasures.

When I am treading the paths of death,
    From every terror  /  Give thy hand;
  Show me thy wounds.

Jesus, help my soul to climb
Now up / Towards the place
  Where I may forever reside.

Blessed it would be today to be singing,
Amongst the holy, / Throng above,
  Who have overcome.

(It was good for me to sit under his shadow)
Jesus my great King and my Spouse,
Against a host, / Be on my side,
  To overcome sin.

Cause me to abide evermore in thy arms,
May my nest me, / Happily forever,
  In thy unfailing wounds.

A longing I have in the land of sickness,
To see the day, / To go free,
From my affliction and my trouble.

If enemies come to attract me,
Make me intent, / To lean,
  To rest on JESUS.

Today I lean on the breast,
Of worthy JESUS, / My Prince he is,
  Against all kinds of enemy.

Above creatures, JESUS keep,
My cheerful soul, / Before thy tender
  Breast until I die.

When I am treading the paths of death,
Against every terror / Give thy hand,
  There shall come no fears.

See thy dear lambs departing,
Be in need, / On our side,
O Lord do not leave us.
