Jehofa ydyw'r Arglwydd Dduw, Llawn o grugaredd o bob rhyw, O'i fawr drugaredd ryfedd E', Bu'r Iesu farw yn fy lle. Pan myn'd yr oeddwn tu a'r tān, Trugaredd redodd o fy mla'n; Trugaredd rād am dyg i'n ol, A gadael miloedd maith ar ol. Trugaredd yw na baswn i, Yn wylo'n awr yn uffern ddu; Yn cael fy mhoeni am fy mai, A drws trugaredd wedi'i gau. Ond trwy drugaredd ryfedd Duw, Yr wyf hyd heddyw etto'n fyw; Trwy ei drugaredd dof i'r wlad, I waeddi iddo byth "rhad rhad." [Ond trwy drugaredd ryfedd Duw, Arbedwyd fi hyd heddyw'n fyw; Trwy ras mi ddo'f i'r nefol wlad, I'w foli am drugaredd rad.]Caniadau Bethel (Casgliad Evan Edwards) 1840 [Mesur: MH 8888] |
Jehovah is the Lord God, Full of mercy of every kind, Of His wonderful, great mercy. Jesus died in my place. When I was going towards the fire, Mercy ran before me; Free mercy to draw me back, And leave vast thousands behind. Mercy it is that I may not be, Weeping now in black hell; Getting pained for my fault, With the door of mercy having been closed. But through the wonderful mercy of God, I am until today still alive; Through his mercy I will come to the land, To shout to him forever "free free." [But through the wonderful mercy of God, I was saved until today alive; Through grace I shall come to the heavenly land, To praise him for free mercy.]tr. 2016,19 Richard B Gillion |
