Llwyddo mae'r efengyl fawr

Llwyddo mae'r efengyl fawr,
    Hawdd adnabod;
Llawer sy'n ei debyn 'nawr,
    Fu'n ei gwrthod:
  Llwydded, llwydded yn y blaen,
      Nes o'r diwedd
  Fyn'd ar led y byd yn lân
      Mynd anrhydedd.

Son am Grist a'i aberth drud
    Fo'n ymdaenu;
A'r annghristiau oll
        drwy'r byd
    Yn diflanu:
  Iesu mawr yn fuan fo
      Mewn derbyniad
  Gan drigolion bryn a bro,
      Yn wir Geidwad.

Succeeding is the great gospel,
    Easy to recognise;
Many are receiving it now,
    That had rejected it:
  Success, success in the fore,
      Until at last
  Going abroad over the whole world
      Honour going.

Mention of Christ and his costly sacrifice
    Be spreading;
And all the non-Christians
        throughout the world
    Disappearing:
  May great Jesus soon be
      in acceptance
  By the inhabitants of hill and vale,
      As a true Saviour.
