Mae galwad heddyw yn parhâu, I mi â'r beiau mawr; A chroesaw etto i godi'm llêf Fry tu a'r nef yn awr, Tryw'r Archoffeiriad gwych di-ffael, Sydd wedi' gael yn un di-goll: Di-fai i Ddyw yw, yn ddïau; Di-fai i ninnau oll. Trowch ataf fi, medd Duw o hyd, Holl gyrau'r byd sy'n gaeth; Fel y'ch achuber rhag fy llid; A phrofi gofid gwaeth: Pe byddai eich pechodau chwi Fel porphor wedi cochi; cewch Eich gwneyd mor lân a'r eira gwỳn; Yn sydyn cyd-nesewch. Mae'r Arglwydd heddyw'n galw a'r g'oedd, O, de'wch i'r dyfroedd, de'wch; Bawb sy'n sychedu am ddyfroedd byw; Digonedd Duw a gewch: Cewch yfed ffrwyth gwinwydden bur, A gwleddoedd cariad heb ddim cur; Gadewch holl gibau, seigiau sur, Y moch, a'u sawyr mwy.Edward Jones 1761-1836 Hymnau &c. ar Amryw Destynau ac Achosion 1820 Tôn: Cynddelw (J A Lloyd 1815-74) |
There is a call today continuing, To to with the great faults; And a welcome still to raise my cry Up towards heaven now, Through the brilliant, unfailing Great High Priest, Who has been found a flawless one: Faultless to God his is, without doubt; Faultless to us all too. Turn ye to him, says God always, All ye corners of the world that are captive; That ye be saved from my wrath; And experience worse grief: If your sins were Like purple having reddened; ye may Be made as clean as the white snow; Immediately draw near together. The Lord is calling today publicly, O, come ye to the waters, come; All who are thirsting for living waters; The sufficiency of God ye me get: Ye may drink the fruit of the pure vine, And the feasts of love without pain; Leave ye all the sour, empty pods Of the pigs, and their savour evermore.tr. 2021 Richard B Gillion |
