Mae pob creadur yn ei ryw

(Y Bod o Dduw)
Mae pob creadur yn ei ryw
  Yn uchel ddweyd ynghyd,
Mai yr anfeidrol fywiol Dduw
  Yw'r Bôd a wnaeth y byd.

Ysbryd yw ef sy'n gweithio'n rhydd,
  Yr hyn a fyn a wna;
Eriod yr oedd, a byth y bydd;
  Duw cyfiawn, doeth, a da.

Mae'n llenwi'r greadigaeth faith,
  Ei lygaid sy'n mhob lle,
Nef, daear, uffern, ar unwaith
  A ddelir ynddo fe.
Roger Edwards 1811-86

(The Being of God)
Every creature in its kind
  Loudly says together,
That the infinite living God
  Is the Being who made the world.

A spirit he is who is working freely,
  Whatever he will he does;
He ever was, and ever shall be;
  A righteous God, wise, and good.

He is filling the vast creation,
  His eyes are in every place,
Heaven, earth, hell, at once
  Are held in him.
