Mae'r llais yr Iesu'n galw'n glir

Mae'r llais yr Iesu'n galw'n glir,
  Dilyn Fi;
Draw dros y môr a thros y tir, -
  Dilyn Fi.
Pan fyddo'r storm yn duo'r nen,
Neu pan fo heulwen deg uwchben,
Daw'r llais i lawr
    o'r nefoedd wen -
  Dilyn Fi.

Beth yw y pêr
    hyfrydlais mwyn,
  Dilyn Fi?
Y Bugail Da sy'n galw'r ŵyn,
  Dilyn Fi.
Mor felys, wedi gorffen gwaith,
Fydd moli fry,
    mewn nefol iaith,
Y llais fu'n cymell ar y daith,
  Dilyn Fi!
Howell Elvet Lewis (Elfed) 1860-1953

[Mesur: 83.83.8883]

The voice of Jesus is calling clearly,
  Follow me;
Yonder over the sea and over the land, -
  Follow me.
Whenever the storm be blackening the sky,
Or whenever the sunshine be fair overhead,
The voice will come down
    from blessed heaven -
  Follow me.

What is the delightful,
    sweet, gentle voice,
  Follow me?
The Good Shepherd is calling the lambs,
  Follow me.
How sweet, having finished work,
Shall be praising above,
    in a heavenly language,
The voice that urged us on the journey,
  Follow me!
