Mae rhyw lewyrch gwawr yn awr yn ymddangos

(Am dydd yr Efengyl)
Mae rhyw lewyrch gwawr,
    yn awr, yn ymddangos,
Fel arwydd mynegol,
    fod dydd mawr yn agos:
  Mae llawer pechadur,
      oedd o fewn ychydig
  Fel bleiddiaid tra chwerwon,
      yn flinion fileinig,
Nad allai praidd Duw
    a'r unrhyw 'mgysylltu;
'Nawr hwy a gyd-drigant
    heb ofn cael eu drygu.

(About the day of the Gospel)
There is some gleam of dawn,
    now, appearing,
Like an expressive sign,
    that a great day is approaching:
  There are many sinners,
      who were within a short distance
  Like such bitter wolves,
      maliciously angry,
That God's flock could not
    at all contact each other;
Now they dwell together
    without fear of getting harmed.
tr. 2024 Richard B Gillion
