Mor hawddgar deg yw Sion Duw

Mor hawddgar deg yw Sion Duw
Ei brawd a'i Brenin sy' yndd'i byw
  Mor llawen ydyw 'llu,
Ei phriod ydyw hwn a'i gwnaeth,
Daw hon i'r lann i'r
    fan lle'r aeth
  I'r etifeddiaeth fry.

Hon yw dyweddi
    Had y wraig
Ei sail sydd gadarn ar y graig,
  Er gwaetha'r ddraig a'i had:
Mae fel arglwyddes deg ei gwawr,
Ni haul hi nid a byth i lawr,
  A'n glodfawr
      trwy bob gwlad.

Y dinasyddion cyd-nesewch,
Holl filoedd Duw i foli dewch
  A llawenhewch yn llon:
Fe ddarfa'r gauaf oer
    daw'r haf,
Heb deimlo clwyf na neb yn glaf,
  Mae'r amser braf ger bron.

Tôn [886D]: Hinton (<1811)

How beautifully fair is the Zion of God
Her brother and her King is living in her
  How joyful is her host,
Her spouse is he who made her,
She shall come up to the
    place where he went
  To the inheritance above.

She is the betrothed of
    the Seed of the woman
Her foundation is firmly on the rock,
Despite the dragon and his seed:
She is like a lady of fair radiance,
Her sun shall never go down,
  Shall become greatly acclaimed
      throughout every land.

Ye citizens draw near together,
All ye thousands of God, come to praise
  And rejoice cheerfully:
The cold winter shall pass away,
    the summer shall come,
Feeling no wound nor any sick,
The pleasant time is at hand.
