Mae Eglwys Iesu ar y graig,
Hi ddeil i'r lan er gwaetha'r ddraig;
  Ni all cynllwynion uffern fawr,
  Na'r ddaear chwaith ei chael i lawr.

Tra deil y fraich dragwyddol gref,
Tra safo gorsedd fawr y nef, -
  Tra dalio Iesu ei ben i'r lan,
  Fe ddiogelir Seion wan.

The Church of Jesus is on the rock,
She shall hold up despite the dragon;
  Nor can the schemes of great hell,
  Nor the earth either get her down.

While the eternal, strong arm holds,
While the great throne of heaven stands, -
  While Jesus holds her head up,
  Weak Zion shall be kept safe.
