Mae llu yr Arglwydd yn crynhoi, A Duw yn roi ei ras I bawb sydd yn dymuno dod O afael pechod cas; Mae arfau ein milwriaeth ni Yn gloywi yn y dwyfol waith; Mae enw Crist i fynd ar g'oedd Dros dir a moroedd maith. Mae llu yr Arglwydd ar eu taith, A'u gwaith yw cadw'r byd; Wynebant ar bob lwyth ac iaith Drwy'r ddaear faith i gyd: Ymlaen yr ânt o wlad i wlad, Gan ddisgwyl gweled toriad dydd Ar dywyll-leoedd is y rhod, A phechod mwy ni bydd. Mae llu yr Arglwydd yn cryfhau, A'r llwythau'n dod ynghyd O dan Ei faner, i fwynhau Rhinweddau'i angeu drud. Mae buddugoliaeth fawr i fod Ar bechod, drwy y ddaear faith; Mae Duw yn arwain yn ein plith, A'i fendith ar Ei waith.W Evans Jones (Penllyn) 1854–1938 Tôn [8686.8886]: Beatrice (T Ll Jenkins) |
The host of the Lord is gathering, And God giving his grace To all who are wishing to come From the grasp of hated sin; The weapons of our soldiery are Gleaming in the divine work; The name of Christ is to go publicly Across land and vast seas. The host of the Lord are on their journey, And their work is saving the world; They will face every tribe and language Through all the vast earth: Forward they go from country to country, Expecting to see the break of day On dark-places below the sky, And sin no more shall be. The host of the Lord is strengthening, And the tribes coming together Under His flag, to enjoy The merits of his costly death. The great victory is to be Over sin, throughout the vast earth; God is guiding in their midst, With his blessing on His work.tr. 2017 Richard B Gillion |
