Mi glywaf Iesu'n dweyd "Nid wyt ond egwan iawn, Ond disgwyl wrth fy mhorth, Cei fi i'th wneyd yn llawn." Talodd Iesu'n llawn, Molaf ef am hyn; Trwy bechod gwnaed fi'n frwnt fy ngwedd, Trwy'r gwaed fe'm gwnaed yn wyn. Dy gariad, Iesu mawr, 'Rwy'n gweled wrth fy modd, Wna'r' llewpard brych yn deg, A'r galon gareg dodd. Heb ddim 'r wyf ger dy fron I hawlio braint na bri; Mi gàna'm gwisg yn wen Yn ffynon Calfari. Caf ddod o'm gwely llwch, Ehedaf uwch y nen; Cân "Talodd Iesu'n llawn" A leinw'r nefoedd wen. Gerbron yr euraidd fainc, Yn llawn caf ynddo fod; A rhoddaf wrth ei draed Byth, byth y parch a'r clod.cyf. Côr y Plant 1875
Tôn: I hear the Saviour say gwelir: Gorphenodd Iesu'r gwaith |
I hear Jesus saying, "Thou art but very weak, But await upon my help, Thou shalt get me making thee full." Jesus paid in full, I will praise him for this; Through sin I was made of a dirty appearance, Through the blood I was made white. Thy love, great Jesus, I am seeing to my pleasure, Who makes the spotted leopard fair, And the heart of stone molten. Without anything I am before thee To claim neither privilege nor honour; I will bleach my clothing white In the fount of Calvary. I will get to come from my bed of dust, I will fly above the sky; The song of "Jesus paid in full" Shall fill the bright heavens. Before the golden throne, Fully I shall get there to be; And I shall give at his feet, Forever, ever the reverence and the praise.tr. 2015 Richard B Gillion |
I hear the Saviour say, Thy strength indeed is small; O child of weakness, pray, I am thine All in All. Jesus paid it all: All to him I owe! Sin had left a crimson stain; He wash'd it white as snow. Lord, now indeed I find Thy faith, and thine alone, Can change the leper's spots, And melt the heart of stone. For nothing good have I, Whereby thy grace to claim - I'll wash me in the blood, The blood of Calvary's Lamb. When from my dying bed, My ransomed soul shall rise, Then "Jesus paid it all," Shall rend the vaulted skies. And when before the throne, I stand in Him complete, I'll lay my trophies down, All down, at Jesus' feet.1865 Elvina Mable Hall 1820-89 |
