Mor brydferth yn y nefoedd

How beautiful in heaven

Mor brydferth yn y nefoedd,
  Yw plant yr Ysgol Sul,
Y rhai fu yma'n dysgu
  I rodio'r llwyr cul;
Maent fel y glân angelion,
  Yn hardd drigfanau'r nef,
A'r Iesu yn eu harddel
  Fel ŵyn ei fynwes Ef.

    Cwrdd eto yn y nefoedd,
      Yn llawen iawn gawn ni,
    I uno yn oes oesoedd,
      Yn nghydgan Calfari.

Mor ddedwydd yn y nefoedd
  Byth mwyach ydynt hwy,
O gyrhaedd pob gofidiau,
  Yn iach heb unrhyw glwy';
Yn byw mewn pur hyfrydwch
  Heb ofni marw mwy,
A Duw ei hun yn ddedwydd
  Byth yn eu canol hwy.

Tôn [7676D+7676]: How Beautiful in Heaven
    (D T Edwards)

How beautiful in heaven,
  Are the children of the Sunday School,
Those who were here learning
  To walk the narrow path;
They are like the holy angels,
  In the beautiful dwellings of heaven,
With Jesus owning them
  As the lambs of His bosom.

    To meet again in heaven,
      Very joyfully we shall get,
    To join forever and ever,
      In the chorus of Calvary.

How happy in heaven
  For evermore are they,
Out of the reach of all griefs,
  Healthy without any wound;
Living in pure delight
  Without fear of dying any more,
With God himself happy
  Forever in their centre.
tr. 2017 Richard B Gillion
How beautiful in heaven,
  Those little children sweet,
Who once with us were sitting,
  In school at Jesus' feet:
They're now like holy angels,
  All glorious to behold,
And Jesus ever own them
  The dear lambs of his fold.

    We'll meet again in glory,
      Around the throne above,
    And join the heavenly chorus,
      To praise the God of love.

How happy now in heaven
  They spend their blissful day!
from pain and tribulation
  For ever passed away;
With pure delight and pleasure
  They roam the happy land,
And God for ever blessèd
  Amid the joyful band.
