Mor hyfryd yw gweled y plant yn gytun

Mor hyfryd yw gweled
    y plant yn gytun,
A'u tannau yn dynnion,
    a'u cydgan yn un,
  I'r Iesu grasusol
      a roddodd i ni
  Yr Ysgol Sabbothol,
      sydd gennym mewn bri.

Yn hon cawn wybodaeth,
    yn helaeth a rhad,
Am aberth yr Iesu
    a chariad y Tad:
  Pa ryfedd gan hynny
      fod iengctyd yn dod
  I ddilyn eu Harglwydd
      a chanu Ei glod?
John Roberts, Aberdâr.

Tôn [6565D / 11.11.11.11]:
Mor hyfryd yw gweled y plant yn gytun
    (<1899 L Wilder)

How lovely is seeing
    the children agreeing,
With their strings taut,
    and their chorus as one,
  To the gracious Jesus
      who gave to us
  The Sabbath School,
      which we hold in honour.

In it we may have knowledge,
    plenteous and free,
About the sacrifice of Jesus
    and the Father's love:
  What wonder, therefore,
     that youth is coming
  To follow their Lord
     and sing his praise?
tr. 2011 Richard B Gillion
