Mor hyfryd mynd o dwrf y byd

1,2,4;  1,3,4.
(Braint Gweddi)
Mor hyfryd mynd o dwrf y byd
  I ddwedyd fy holl gŵyn,
Heb neb ond Duw a minnau'n nghyd
  Yn y gyfrinach fwyn!

Wrth Dduw caf ddweyd fy angen oll,
  Heb ofni byrdra dawn;
Ac er mor dywyll wyf o'i flaen,
  Fe'm gwrendy yn yr Iawn.

Ni fethodd gweddi daer erioed
  A chyrraedd hyd y nef;
Ac mewn cyfyngder, f'enaid, rhed
  Yn union ato Ef!

Mae'r orsedd fawr yn awr yn rhydd,
  Gwrandewir
  llais y gwan:
Wel, cyfod bellach, f'enaid prudd,
  Anadla tua'r lan.

  Agorwyd pyrth y nefoedd wiw
  I'th 'stafell dos medd Iesu mwyn
  Iesu yw 'Mrawd a 'Mhriod pur
  Ni fethodd gweddi daer erioed

(The Privilege of Prayer)
How lovely to go from the din of the world
  To tell my whole complaint,
With no-one but God and me together,
  In the tender confidence!

To God I may tell all my need,
  Without fearing the smallness talent;
And although I am so dark before him,
  He will listen to me in the Ransom.

Earnest prayer has never failed
  To reach as far as heaven;
And in straits, my soul, run
  Directly to Him!

The great throne is now accessible,
  The voice of the weak
      is to be listened to:
See, arise henceforth, my sad soul,
  Aim upwards.
