Na foed cydweithwyr Duw

(Llawenydd yn ngwaith Duw)
  Na foed cydweithwyr Duw
    Byth yn eu gwaith yn drist
  Wrth ddwyn y meini byw
    I'w dodi'n nhemel Crist:
Llawenydd sydd, llawenydd fydd
I bawb sy'n gweithio
      'ngolau ffydd.

  Pam mae'r telynau draw
    Ar helyg Babel bell,
  Pan eilw Duw bob llaw
    A thant ar amcan gwell?
Ar furiau Seion gweddus yw
Sŵn mawl wrth weithio gyda Duw.

  Mae gweithwyr gorau'r ne'
    Yn marw yn eu gwaith,
  Ond eraill ddaw'n eu lle
    Ar hyd yr oesoedd maith;
A ffyddlon i'w addewid fry
Yw'r hwn a fu'n
      sylfaenu'r tŷ.

  Mae'r Iesu eto'n fyw,
    A'r gwaith sydd dan ei law;
  Ar gyfer gweithwyr Duw
    Mae bendith oesau ddaw:
Llawenydd mawr ynghyd a gawn
Ryw ddydd, wrth weld y tŷ yn llawn.

(Joy in God's Work)
  Let not the fellow-workers of God
    Ever be sad in their work
  While bringing the living stones
    To set them in the temple of Christ:
Joy there is, joy there shall be
For all who are working
      in the light of faith.

  Why are the harps yonder
    On distant Babylon's willows,
  When God calls every hand
    And string to a better purpose?
On the walls of Zion worthy is
The sound of praise while working with God.

  The best of heaven's workers are
    Dying in their work,
  But other shall come in their place
    All along the vast ages;
And faithful to his promise above
Is he who was the
      foundation stone of the house.

  Jesus is still alive,
    And the work is under his hand;
  For the workers of God
    There is the blessing of ages to come:
Great joy together we shall have
Some day, on seeing the house full.
