Nis gwn pa ryw awr daw fy Arglwydd mawr

I know not the hour when my Lord will come

(Hyn fydd yn nefoedd i mi)
Nis gwn pa ryw awr daw fy Arglwydd mawr
I'm cyrchu i'm cartref
    sydd uwch y llawr,
Ond gyda'i ddyfodiad
    fe dyr y wawr;
  A hyn fydd ogoniant i mi.

  A hyn fydd ogoniant i mi,
  A hyn fydd ogoniant i mi,
Ond gyda'i ddyfodiad
    fe dyr y wawr;
  A hyn fydd ogoniant i mi.

Nis gwn pa fath fawl sydd
    ar danau'r nef,
Pereidd-dra'r telynau
    a'r gydgan gref,
Ond gwn mai y testyn
    yw "Iddo ef,"
  A hyn fydd cerddoriaeth i mi.

Nis gwn pa fath dy ga'i'n
    yr hyfryd wlad,
Pa enw gaf yno
    yn nef fy Nhad,
Ond gwn mai yr Iesu
    fydd mewn mawrhad,
  A hyn fydd yn nefoedd i mi.

Nis gwn yn mha fodd
    o fewn i'r llen
Y molir yr Iesu
    trwy'r nefoedd wen,
Ond gwn caf roi'r
    goron ar ei ben,
  A hyn fydd yn ddigon i mi.

Tôn [10.10.10.8+8.8.10.8]: I Know Not The Hour
    (James McGranahan 1840-1907)

(That will be heaven for me)
I know what hour my great Lord will come
To set me off for my home
    which is above the earth,
But with his coming he
    will break the dawn;
  And that shall be glory for me.

  And that will be glory for me,
  And that will be glory for me,
But with his coming he
    will break the dawn;
  And that shall be glory for me.

I do not know what praise shall be
    on the strings of heaven,
The sweetness of the harps
    and the strong chorus,
But I know that the theme
    is "Unto him,"
  And that shall be music to me.

I do not know what kind of house I shall
    get in the delightful land,
What name shall I get there
    in my Father's heaven,
But I know that Jesus
    shall be in majesty,
  And that shall be heaven to me.

I do not know in what way
    within the curtain
Jesus will be praised
    throughout the bright heavens,
But I know I shall get to put
    the crown on his head,
  And that shall be enough for me.
tr. 2020 Richard B Gillion

I know not the hour when my Lord will come
To take me away to
    His own dear home;
But I know that His presence
    will lighten the gloom,
  And that will be glory for me.

  And that will be glory for me,
  Oh, that will be glory for me!
But I know that His presence
    will lighten the gloom,
  And that will be glory for me.

I know not the song
    that the angels sing,
I know not the sound of
    the harps' glad ring;
But I know there'll be mention
    of Jesus our king,
  And that will be music for me.

I know not the form
    of my mansion fair,
I know not the name that
    I then shall bear;
But I know that my Savior
    will welcome me there,
  And that will be Heaven for me.
