O Arglwydd clyw fy nghais

(Salm XXVII - Rhan II - adn.7-9. Ceisio'r Arglwydd.)
O! Arglwydd, clyw fy nghais,
  Pan ddelo'm llais i'r lan;
Ac imi dy drugaredd rho,
  Gan wrando gweddi'r gwan.

Fy wyneb ceisiwch chwi,
  Pan dd'wedi di, mor dda:
Dy wyneb geisiaf mwy'n ddi-baid,
  Medd f'enaid er fy mhla.

Na chuddia d'wyneb cu
  Oddiwrthyf fi, fy Nuw;
Ac ymaith yn dy lid na wna
  Fy mwrw, tra fwy' byw.

Yn gymmorth buost im',
  Rho etto'th rym a'th hedd;
O Dduw fy iechydwriaeth ddrud,
  Na ād fi hyd y bedd.

(Psalm 27 - part 2 - vv.7-9. Seeking the Lord.)
O Lord, hear my request!
  When my voice come up;
And to me thy mercy give,
  When listening to the prayer of the weak.

My face seek ye,
  When thou sayest, so well:
Thy face I will seek evermore unceasingly,
  Says my soul despite my plague.

Do not hide thy dear face
  From me, my God;
And away in thy anger do not
  Cast me, while ever I live.

A help be thou to me,
  Give again thy force and thy peace;
O God of my costly salvation,
  Do not leave me as far as the grave.
