O Arglwydd dwg ni'n isel iawn

(Ymostyngiad)
O Arglwydd dwg ni'n isel iawn
  I ofni'th gyfiawn ddyrnod;
Rho ini edifeirwch dwys,
  A symud bwys ein pechod.

Gosteger pob terfysgeodd cas,
  Teyrnased gras trwy'r ddaear;
Tylwythau'r byd
    fo'n plygu'n llon
  I Frenin Seion hawddgar.
William Williams (Gwilym Cyfeiliog) 1801-76

Tôn [MS 8787]: Y Croesbren (Joseph Parry 1841-1903)

(Submission)
O Lord lead us very lowly
  To fear thy righteous blow;
Give us intense contrition,
  And remove the weight of our sin.

All detestable tumults are to be humbled,
  Let grace reign throughout the earth!
May the tribes of the world
    be bowing cheerfully
  To the beautiful King of Zion!
tr. 2016 Richard B Gillion
