O Arglwydd Iôr, pwy fel Tydi?
Ymhell uwchlaw ein deall ni,
  Mwy nag a gynnwys nef y nef:
Y nefoedd daenaist
    ti fel llen,
Fel pabell lledaist hi uwch ben;
  Pa beth yw dyn pan fawrhêit ef?

Ai Mab y dyn ddyrchafwyd draw
I eistedd ar y Ddeheulaw,
  Yn frenin mawr yn llys y nef;
Angylion lawenhânt bob un
O'u bod yn ddeiliaid Mab y dyn
  Pa beth yw dyn pan fawrhêit ef?

Wrth weled dynion rif y gwlith,
A'u Brawd, eu Prynwr,
    yn eu plith,
  Yn ninas ddedwydd nef y nef:
Rhyfedda 'r nefoedd drwyddi nghyd
Ymholi fydd mwy fwy o hyd,
  Pa beth yw dyn pan fawrhêit ef?

O Sovereign Lord, who like thee?
Far above our understanding,
  More than the heaven of heaven contains:
The heavens thou didst
    spread like a curtain,
Like a tent thou didst stretch it over head;
  What is man when thou dost magnify him?

Is it the Son of man who was exalted yonder
To sit at the Right Hand,
  As a great King in the court of heaven?
Angels rejoice every one
Delightedly as tenants of the Son of man
  What is man when thou dost magnify him?

On seeing men as numerous as the dew,
With their Brother, their Redeemer,
    in their midst,
  In the heaven of heaven's happy kingdom:
The heavens wonder throughout it all
They shall be asking evermore,
  What is man when thou dost magnify him?
