O Arglwydd trugarha (Er dyfned yw fy mhla)

1,2,(3,4);  1,2,5,6.
(Gweddi am faddeuant)
O, Arglwydd, trugarha,
Er dyfned yw fy mhla,
  A 'meiau mawr;
Dilëa rhei'ny'n rhad,
A maddeu yn y gwaed,
A dyro wir iachad,
  I'm clwyfau'n awr.

Golch fi oddiwrth fy mai,
Ti elli fy nglanhau,
  A'm cànu'n wỳn;
Er dyfned yw fy nghlwy',
Anfeidrol ras sydd fwy,
Mae wedi dyfod trwy,
  Galfaria fryn.

Fy unig noddfa'n awr
I'm lloni ar y llawr,
  A'm gwir iachau
Yw clwyfau'r Meichiau mawr;
Caf yno lechu yn lan
Yn Iesu cu, a seinio cân
  Yn deliw tân.

Hwn ydyw'r un a ddaeth
I fyny o Edom gaeth
  O Bozra dir;
Gorchfygu'n wir a wnaeth;
Yr Hwn fu ar y pren
Yn agor ffordd i'r nef wen,
  Rhai'r clod.

Am hyny trugarha,
O Dduw! a llwyr lanhâ
  Fy meiau i gyd,
A golch fi yn y gwaed
Ar Galfari a gaed,
Yr iachawdwriaeth rad,
  A'r angeu drud.

Cân Haleluia mwy,
Mae Meddyg i dy glwy',
  Er dyfned yw;
Mae modd i'th gyfiawnhau,
Mae ffynon i'th lanhan,
Yn nghyd â llwyr iachau
  Dy farwol friw.
A 'meiau :: A'm beiau
yn y gwaed :: er mwyn y gwaed
wir iachad :: lwyr iachâd
Mae wedi dyfod trwy :: Daeth digon i mi drwy

gwelir: O dan d'adenydd Di

(Prayer for forgiveness)
O, Lord, have mercy,
Although so deep is my plague,
  And my great faults;
Remove those freely,
And forgive in the blood,
And grave true healing,
  For my wounds now.

Wash me from my fault,
Thou canst cleanse me,
  And bleach me white;
Although so deep is my wound,
Immeasurable grace which is greater,
Has come through
  The hill of Calvary.

My only refuge now
To cheer me on the earth below,
  And truly to heal me
Is the wounds of the great Surety;
There I may hide completely
In dear Jesus, and sound a song
  In a deluge of fire.

He is the one who came
Up from captive Edom
  From the land of Bozra;
Overcome truly he did;
He who was on the tree
Opening a way to blessed heaven,
  To him be the acclaim.

Therefore have mercy,
O God! and completely cleanse
  All my faults,
And wash me in the blood
That was got on Calvary,
The free salvation
  And the costly death.

Sing Hallelujah evermore,
The Physician for thy wound,
  Although so deep it is;
There is a means for thee to justify,
There is a a fount for thee to cleanse,
Together with the complete healing
  Of thy mortal wound.
::
in the blood :: for the sake of the blood
true healing :: total healing
Has come through :: Sufficient came to be through
