O clyw fy nghwynfan Arglwydd mwyn

(Salm 17 - Rhan I)
O clyw fy nghwynfan, Arglwydd mwyn,
  Ystyria gwyn fy ochain;
Gogwydda'th glust i'm gweddi i,
  Sydd arnat ti yn llefain.

O fewn dy union lwybrau di,
  O cynnal fi yn wastad;
Rhag llithro allan o'r fordd dda
  Duw, gwylia fy ngherddediad.

Galw'r wyf arnat am dy fod
  Yn Dduw parod i wrando;
Gostwng dy glust, a chlwy yn rhodd
  Fy holl ymadrodd etto.

Cadw fi'n anwyl rhag pob twyll,
  Fel anwyl ganwyll llygad;
Ynghysgod dy adenydd di,
  O cadw fi yn wastad.

  Rhan II - Y bywyd hwn sydd freuddwyd brau

(Psalm 17 - Part 1)
O hear my lament, dear Lord,
  Consider the complaint of my groaning;
Incline thy ear to my prayer,
  Which to thee is crying out.

Within thy straight paths,
  O support me constantly;
Lest I slip out of the good way,
  God, watch my walking.

Calling I am upon the since thou art
  A God ready to listen;
Lower thy ear, and hear as a gift
  All my report again.

Keep my dearly from all deception,
  Like the dear candle of thy eye;
In the shadow of thy wings,
  O keep me constantly.
