O Iesu fy Ngwaredwr llawn

1,2,3,(4),5,6;  1,3,5,6.
(Crist yn Brynedigaeth)
O Iesu fy Ngwaredwr llawn,
  Fy Iawn a'm Prynedigaeth!
Trwy'th angeu di, fy ngwared ca'
  O uffern a marwolaeth.

Fe'm dwg i maes o'm gwae a'm gwŷn,
  Fy llafur blin a'm lludded;
I'r tawel fan i'w cwmp'ni hwy,
  Sy' heb newyn mwy na syched.

Ar ochor f'enaid tlawd fe fydd,
  Ar foreu dydd marwolaeth;
Yn wyneb angen, caf wneud ple,
  Gan waeddi Iechydwriaeth.

Fe rwyma'r ddraig, hen Satan syn,
  Tr'wy' inau yn diengu,
I'r ddinas fry i blith y saint,
  Ca'i'r nefol fraint feddianu.

O fewn i'r wlad tu draw i'r bedd,
  Caf weled gwedd ei wyneb;
Ac yn ei fynwes llechu ca',
  Hyd eitha' trag'wyddoldeb.

Fe gasgla'm llwch o'r bedd i'r lan,
  Yn gyfan ac yn gryno;
Caf gorph fel fy anwylyd gwiw,
  O hyfryd liw'n dysgleirio.

Tôn [MS 8787]: Irish (<1811)

gwelir:
Crist Doethineb y Saint

Fe'm gwnaeth yn ddoeth wel'd fy hun yn ddall
Crist yn Gyfiawnder

Euogrwydd pechod oedd yn bwn
Crist yn Sancteiddrwydd

Pa ham y digalonnai mwy

  Duw cadw f'enaid bach o hyd
  Sancteiddrwydd im' yw'r Oen di-nàm

(Christ as Redemption)
O Jesus my full Deliverer,
  My Atonement and my Redemption!
Through thy death, I get delivered
  From hell and mortality.

He took me out of my woe and my complaint,
  My grievous labour and my exhaustion;
To the quiet place into their company,
  Who have no more hunger or thirst.

On the side of my poor soul he shall be,
  On the morning of the day of death;
In the face of death, I may make a plea,
  While shouting "Salvation!"

He will bind the dragon, old Satan stunned,
  While I am dying,
To the city above amongst the saints,
  I may possess the heavenly privilege.

Within the land beyond the grave,
  I may see the countenance of his face;
And in his bosom I may hide,
  Unto the end of eternity.

He will gather my dust up from the grave,
  Wholly and completely;
I shall get a body like my worthy beloved,
  From a delightful appearance radiating.
