Os byth gofynir beth yw Duw, Atebir mai daioni yw; Mae'r oll a wnaeth erioed yn dda, Pob peth mae'n wneyd, pob peth a wna. Da yw ei holl weithredoedd Ef, O'r ddaiar hon i uchder nef; Daioni a doethineb maith Sydd argraffedig ar ei waith. Yr holl fydysawd sydd yn llawn Amlygrwydd o'i annhreithol ddawn; Ag unol lais dadgana'n hŷ Mai llawn daioni yw'n Duw ni. Mae'n annherfynol yn ei rym, Ei rwystro ef nis dichon dim; Yr oll mae'n ewyllysio, gwna, A'r oll a eill sy berffaith dda. Daioni pur yw'r oll a wnaeth; Pob da yn mhawb o Dduw y daeth; Nid oes un da drwy'r llawr na'r nef Ond ffrydiau o'i ddaioni Ef. Angelion glān y nefoedd glwys, Mynegwch faint ei ddoniau dwys, - Pa faint yw golud gras ein Duw, A'i roddion rhad i ddynol ryw. Cydganed teulu'r nef yn awr Mewn peraidd gān ā llu y llawr, Byth am ddaioni Tri yn Un Yn trefnu ffordd i gadw dyn. O gariad a daioni'r Tad Y trefnwyd prynedigaeth rād; I wneuthur da i annheilwng ryw Bu Iesu farw i ni gael byw. Bendithion ar fendithion pur, Gwerth gwaed Immanuel a'i gur, Sy'n llifo'n rhad lle'r ŷm yn byw, Yn unig o ddaioni Duw. Er cymaint gorthrymderau'r byd, Mae'r cyfan er daioni i gyd; Pob peth yn cydweithredu sydd Er lles i etifeddion ffydd. Mor dda yw Duw yn galw dyn O feddiant Satan ato ei hun! Gan ei fwyn wahodd draw o bell, I dderbyn y trysorau gwell. Mae'n cynnyg rhoddi'r nefol wlad I bawb sy'n derbyn ei Fab rhad; A choron aur, anfeidrol fraint, Sydd yno'n aros pawb o'r saint.D Silvan Evans (Daniel Las) 1818-1903 Blodau Ieuainc 1843 gwelir: Mor fawr yw golud grās ein Duw Pob da yn mhawb o Dduw y daeth |
If it is ever asked what is God, It will be answered that he is good; All he will ever do is good Everything he has done, everything he does. Good are all his deeds, From this earth to the height of heaven; Vast goodness and wisdom Are printed on his work. The whole universe is full Of the abundance of his unspeakable talent; With a united voice is declares boldly That full of goodness is our God. He is boundless in his power, Nothing can frustrate him; All that he wills, he does, And all he can is perfectly good. Pure goodness is all he did; All good in everyone from God it came; There is not one good thing throughout the earth or heaven But streams from his goodness. Ye holy angels of the beautiful heavens, Express ye the extent of his profound gifts, - How great is the wealth of the grace of our, And his gracious gifts to human kind. Let the family of heaven sing together now In a sweet song with the host of earth below, Forever about the goodness of the Three in One Arranging a way to save man. From the love and goodness of the Father Was arranged gracious redemption; To do good to an unworthy sort Did Jesus die for us to get to live. Pure blessings upon blessings, The worth of the blood of Immanuel and his wound, Which flows freely where we are living, Alone of the goodness of God. Despite the extent of the world's afflictions, The whole is all for good; Every thing is working together For the benefit of the heirs of faith. How good is God calling man From the possession of Satan unto himself! Since his gentle invitation yonder from afar, To accept the better treasures. He is offering the gifts of the heavenly land To all who are receiving his gracious Son; And a golden crown, an immeasurable privilege, Is there awaiting all of the saints.tr. 2020 Richard B Gillion |
