Os gartref fry yn nhŷ fy Nhad

Os gartref fry yn nhŷ fy Nhad,
Y gwelir fi trwy rin y gwa'd,
Ti gei y clod dros oesoedd maith,
Am gynnal un mor lesg a llaith.

Er mod i'n llesg, mi af yn mla'n,
Ar ol fy Nuw trwy ddw'r a thân,
Mi 'mbiliaf arno tra fw'f byw,
Am gael myn'd ato i'r nef i fyw.

[Mesur: MH 8888]

If at home above in my Father's house,
I am to be seen through
    the merit of the blood,
Thou shalt get the acclaim for vast ages,
For upholding one so feeble and soft.

Although I am feeble, I shall go forward,
After my God through water and fire,
I shall beseech him while ever I live,
To get to go to him to heaven to live.
tr. 2023 Richard B Gillion
