O Arglwydd na cherydda fi (Ym mhoethni dy ddigofus lid)

(Salm VI.1,2,4,5,9.)
O Arglwydd, na cherydda fi
  Ym mhoethni dy ddigofus lid;
Dy rad drugaredd bellach dod
  I faddeu'm pechod mawr i gyd.

O achub f'enaid mawr ei bla,
  Iachâ fi â'th drugaredd gu;
Nid oes yn angau gof na gwawl,
  A phwy a'th fawl
    o'r priddfedd du?

Fe glyw, fe glyw fy Nuw fy arch,
  Boed iddo barch
    a mawl dilŷth!
Fe wrendy fry fy ngweddi 'nawr,
  Boed iddo fawr ogoniant fyth.

gwelir: O Arglwydd na cherydda fi [MS]

(Psalm 6:1,2,4,5,9.)
O Lord, do not rebuke me
  In the heat of thy irate anger;
Thy gracious mercy henceforth come
  To forgive all my great sins.

Oh save my soul with its great disease,
  Heal me with thy dear mercy;
There is in death no memory nor light,
  And who shall praise thee
    from the black earth-grave?

He hears, my God hears my demand,
  Let there be to him reverence
    and ceaseless praise!
He listens above to my prayer now,
  Let the be to him great glory forever.
