O boed i'th air alluog Dduw

(Y Beibl)
O boed i'th air, alluog Dduw,
Gyfeirio 'nhraed tra byddwyf byw;
  Rhag troi o'r
      brif-ffordd ddedwydd fwyn,
  Ar dy ddeheulaw sydd i'm dwyn.

Hwn yw y gair, O gariad mawr,
O'r nef anfonwyd ini lawr;
  Iehofah ddengys yma i ma's,
  Beth all ei hollalluog râs.

Hwn yw dadguddiad Duw ei hun,
Uwch rheswm dall, a synwyr dyn;
  F'arweinydd i'r wlad nefol frŷ,
  Trwy'r byd,
      y glyn wylofus du.

Yn llyfyr grâs fy nefol Dad,
Rwy'n cael i'm blinder esmwythâd,
  Gweld 'rwy 'mhob dalen ynddo 'mron,
  Wyneb, a llais
      fy Mhrynwr llon.

(The Bible)
O may thy word, mighty God,
Direct my feet while ever I am living;
  From turning from the
      happy, gently main-road,
  At thy right hand which is leading me.

This is the word, O great love,
From heaven send down to us;
  Jehovah shall show forth here,
  What his almighty grace can do.

This is the revelation of God himself,
Above blind reason, and the sense of man;
  My leader to the heavenly land above,
  Through the world,
      the black vale of weeping.

In the book of my heavenly Father's grace,
I am getting ease for my grief,
  Seeing I am on almost every page,
  The face, and voice,
      of my cheerful Redeemer.
tr. 2019 Richard B Gillion

This is the word of truth and love,
Sent to the nations from above;
  Jehovah here resolves to show
  What his almighty grace can do.
