O canwn glod i Dduw drwy ffydd

(Hollbresenboldeb Duw)
O! canwn glod i Dduw drwy ffydd,
  Meddiannydd anfarwoldeb,
Y bod anfeidrol dwyfol da,
  Preswylia dra'wyddoldeb.

Congl a breswyliwn ni bob rhai,
  On llai na gradd o amser;
Ond presenoldeb Un a Thri
  Sy'n llenwi yr eangder.

Mae yn y byd, yr hwn a wnaeth,
  Yn ei Ragluniaeth ddwyfol,
Yn cynyg ei drugaredd lon
  I ddynion anhaeddiannol.

Yn yr anialwych cais heb baid
  Ei ddefaid cyfrgolledig,
Ac yn ei amser dwg yn ol
  Aelodau etholedig.

Mae ar ei orsedd fry mewn hedd
  Tangnefedd a gogoniant,
Yn uffern ddu mae mawredd Ion
  Yn gyfion mewn digofaint.

O! ofnwn bechu yn ei wydd,
  Can's Duw'r sancteiddrwdd ydyw,
Sy'n ysol dân yn fflamio bron
  Y damnedigion heddyw.

Ac yn yr hollbresenol Dduw
  Yr ym yn byw bob munud,
Pob peth goruch ac is y rhod
  Yn bod ac yn ymsymud.

Yn ngwaelod môr,
    yn llwch y bedd,
  Ei sylwedd sy'n preswyl;
Mae llwch ei saint wrth gynwes Duw,
  A gwerthfawr ydyw ganddo.

Er fod yr Ion yn nghysegrle
  Aneddle ei sancteiddrwydd,
Gyda'r ymddifad athrist gwan
  Mae preswylfan yr Arglwydd.

A chyda'r weddw brudd y trig,
  Yn ei drylliedig galon;
Ac mewn hyfrydwch, nos a dydd,
  Ei drigfa sydd yn Seion.

Dy yspryd dod i ganu'th fawl,
  O! hollbresenawl Arglwydd;
Dysg ni i rodio ger dy fron
  Yn union mewn sancteiddrwydd.

A dwg ni fry, O! Arglwydd Dduw,
  I fyw i'th bresenoldeb;
Ac i glodfori'th enw da,
  Amen, i drag'wyddoldeb.

[Mesur: MS 8787]

(The Omnipresence of God)
O let us sing praise to God through faith,
  The possessor of immortality,
The infinite, divine, good being,
  The inhabitant of eternity.

The corner which we inhabit every one,
  But less than a grain of time;
But the presence of the One and Three
  Who is filling the vastness.

There is in the world, he who made it,
  In his divine providence,
Offering his cheerful mercy
  To undeserving men.

In the desert he seeks unceasingly
  His utterly lost sheep,
And in his time brings back
  Chosen members.

There are on his throne in peace
  Tranquility and glory,
In black hell is the Lord's majesty
  Righteous in wrath.

O let us fear to sin in his sight!
  Since the God of holiness he is,
Who is a consuming fire, flaming completely
  The condemned today.

And in the omnipresence of God
  We are living every minute,
Everything above and below the sky
  Being and moving.

In the bottom of the sea,
    in the dust of the grave,
  His substance is residing;
The dust of his saints by the bosom of God,
  And precious it is to him.

Although the Lord is in the sanctuary
  Of the dwelling of his holiness,
With the helpless, sad, weak
  Is the residence of the Lord.

And with the sad widow he lives,
  In her broken heart;
And in delight, night and day,
  His dwelling is in Zion.

Thy spirit come to sing thy praise,
  O omnipresent Lord;
Teach us to walk before thee
  Uprightly in holiness.

And lead us above, O Lord God,
  To live, into thy presence;
And to extol thy good name,
  Amen, for eternity!
