O cenwch fawl i'r Arglwydd (Y ddaear fawr i gyd)

1,(2),3.
O cenwch fawl i'r Arglwydd,
  Y ddaear fawr i gyd,
Ac am ei iachawdwriaeth
  Moliennwch ef o hyd;
Mynegwch ei ogoniant,
  Tra dyrchafedig yw;
Mae'n ben goruwch y duwiau,
  Mae'n Arglwydd dynol-ryw.

Holl duwiau y cenhedloedd,
  Eilunod ŷnt i dān,
Y Duw a wnaeth y nefoedd
  Yn unig haedda gān;
Mae'i sanctaidd nefol drifga,
  Yn harddwch pur digol;
O! doed trigolion daear
  I'w ogoneddu oll.

Rhowch iddo aberth moliant,
  Ymgrymwch ger ei fron;
Yn brydferth mewn sancteiddrwydd
  Moliennwch ef yn llon;
Ac ofned pob creadur
  Yr hwn sy'n dal y byd;
Ymlawenhaed y nefoedd
  A'r ddaear ynddo 'nghyd.

O sing praise to the Lord,
  All the great earth,
And for his salvation
  Praise him continually;
Communicate his glory,
  For he is exalted;
He is head above the gods,
  He is Lord of humankind.

All the gods of the nations,
  Are idols for fire,
The God who made the heavens
  Alone deserves song;
His holy, heavenly habitation,
  Is pure, unfailing beauty;
O come, inhabitants of earth
  All to glorify him.

Render to him the sacrifice of praise,
  Bow before him;
In the beauty within holiness
  Praise him joyfully;
And let every creature fear
  The one who holds the world;
Let the heavens rejoice
  And the earth in him all together.
tr. 2009,10 Richard B Gillion
