O cyfod nefol wawr

  O cyfod nefol wawr,
  Cyn myn'd o'm haul i lawr;
    I rydd-did clir,
  'Rwy'n wir am dd'od yn awr:
  Aed heibio fy nghaethiwed blin,
  Ac arnaf doed ryw nefol hîn;
A'm hyspryd llonna'n wastad,
  A'th gariad sydd fel gwîn.

  Ffarwel 'rwy'n roddi 'nawr,
  I eulynod gwael y llawr:
    Rhowch le'n ddi-wad,
  I gariad Iesu mawr:
  Fy Mrenhin a'm Hoffeiriad gwiw,
  A'm Prophwyd i'm haddysgu yw;
Un o drag'wyddol hanffod,
  Odd' uchod y gwir Dduw.

  Molianned nef y nef
  "Ei enw sanctaidd ef!"
    A doed yn awr,
  Trigolion llawr a'u llef:
  Y Tad, a'r Mab,
      a'r Yspryd Glan;
  Y Tri mewn Hanffod di-wahân:
Cyd unwn yn wastadol,
  I roi'r drag'wyddol gân.

  O rise, heavenly dawn,
  Before going down from my sun;
    To clear freedom,
  I truly want to come now:
  Let my grievous captivity pass,
  And some heavenly weather come upon me;
And cheer my spirit continuously,
  With thy love which is like wine.

  Farewell I am bidding now,
  To the base idols of the earth:
    Give ye way undeniably,
  To the love of great Jesus:
  My King and my worthy Priest,
  And my Prophet is to teach me;
One of eternal essence,
  From above, the true God.

  Let the heaven of heaven praise
  "His sacred name!"
    And let the inhabitants
  Of earth come now with their cry:
  The Father, and the Son,
      and the Holy Spirit;
  The Three in an undivided Essence:
Let us unite continuously,
  To give the eternal song.
