O deffro f'enaid gyda'r wawr

O! deffro, f'enaid, gyda'r wawr,
I'th ddyletwsyddau ar y lawr;
  Dihuna, cyfod, llafar gân
  Foreuol fawl i galon lân.

Fy nghalon, deffro, cyfod lef
Yn llawen gyda lluoedd nef,
  Y rhai heb daw
      trwy'r hirnos faith
  Sy'n moli Duw - eu melys waith.

O! llywia'n wiw ar hyd y dydd
Bob meddwl, gweithred, gair a fydd:
  Fel bo
      i'r yfan feddaf i
  Gyduno er D'ogoniant Di.

I Dad y trugareddau i gyd
Rhown foliant,
    holl drigolion byd:
  Llu'r nef, moliennwch Ef ar gân,
  Y Tad, a'r Mab
      a'r Ysbryd Glân.

O deffro, f'enaid, gyda'r wawr,
I'th yrfa ar y ddaiar lawr;
  Dihun, cyfod, llafargân
  Foreuol fflam dy ddiolch glân.

Pryn d'amser drud,
    bydd fyw bob awr
Fel pe bai'th olaf ar y llawr;
  Defnyddia'th dalent; cofia'r dydd
  A'r manwl gyfrif yno fydd.

Boed pob ymadrodd iti'n bur,
A'th galon fel yr heulwen glir;
  A gwel fod llygad Duw o hyd
  Yn gwylio'th ffyrdd a'th ddirgel fryd.

Fy nghalon, deffro, dyrcha i'r nef,
Gyda'r anglion una'th lef,
  Y rhai heb daw
      yr hirnos faith
  A folant Dduw - eu melus waith.

gwelir: O f'enaid deffro cân yn awr

Oh wake up, my soul, with the dawn,
To thy duties on the earth;
  Awaken, raise, with a loud song
  Of morning praise to a pure heart.

My heart, wake up, raise a voice
Joyfully with the hosts of heaven
  Those without exception
      through the very long night,
  Who are praising God - their sweet work.

Oh guide worthily all day long
Every thought, action, word that will be:
  That all that I have
      may be
  Uniting for Thy glory.

To the God of all mercies
Let us render praise,
    all inhabitants of the world:
  The host of heaven, praise ye Him in song,
  The Father, and the Son,
      and the Holy Spirit.

Oh, wake up, my soul, with the dawn,
To thy course on the earth below!
  Awake, arise, loudly sing
  The morning flame of thy holy thanks.

Scare the precious time,
    it will be less every hour
As if it were thy last on the ground;
  Use thy talent; remember the day
  And the detailed account there will be then.

Let every report to thee be pure,
And thy heart like the bright sun clear;
  And see that the the eye of God is always
  Watching the ways of thy secret mind.

My heart, wake up, lift up to heaven,
With the angels unite thy cry,
  Those to whom comes not
      the vast, long night
  Shall praise God - their sweet work.
cyf. 2014 Richard B Gillion
Awake, my soul, and with the sun
Thy daily stage of duty run;
  Shake off dull sloth, and joyful rise,
  To pay thy morning sacrifice.

Wake, and lift up thyself, my heart,
And with the angels bear thy part,
  Who all night long
      unwearied sing
  High praise to the eternal King.

Direct, control, suggest, this day,
All I design, or do, or say,
  That all my powers,
      with all their might,
  In Thy sole glory may unite.

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him,
    all creatures here below;
  Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
  Praise Father, Son,
     and Holy Ghost.

Awake, my soul, and with the sun
Thy daily stage of duty run;
  Shake off dull sloth, and joyful rise,
  To pay thy morning sacrifice.

Thy precious time misspent,
    redeem,
Each present day thy last esteem,
  Improve thy talent with due care;
  For the great day thyself prepare.

In conversation be sincere;
Keep conscience as the noontide clear;
Think how all seeing God thy ways
And all thy secret thoughts surveys.

Wake, and lift up thyself, my heart,
And with the angels bear thy part,
  Who all night long
      unwearied sing
  High praise to the eternal King.
