O dowch a chanwn i'r Arglwydd

O dowch, a chanwn i'r Arglwydd,
  Efe yw llwydd ein bywyd;
Ac ymlawenhawn yn ei nerth,
  Ef yw ein prydferth iechyd.

O down yn unfryd ger ei fron,
  A chalon bur ddiolchgar;
Brysiwn at Dduw dan lawenhau,
  A chanwn salmau'n llafar.

O herwydd Arglwydd nef a llawr
  Y sy Dduw mawr yn ddïau;
Tywysog mawr yw ef mewn trîn,
  A Brenin yr holl dduwiau.

Oh come ye, and sing to the Lord,
  He is the leader of our life;
And let us rejoice in his strength,
  He is our beauty of salvation.

Oh let us come of one mind before him,
  And a pure, thankful heart;
Let us hasten to God while rejoicing,
  And let us sing songs vocally.

Because the Lord of heaven and earth
  Is a great God doubtless;
A great Prince is he in battle,
  And the King of all the Gods.

1 O Come, loud anthems let us sing,
  loud thanks to our Almighty King;
    For we our voices high should raise 
    when our salvation's rock we praise.

2 Into his presence let us haste,
  to thank him for his favours past;
    To him address, in joyful songs,
    the praise that to his Name belongs.

3 For God, the Lord, enthroned in state
  is with unrivalled glory great;
    A King, superior far to all,
    whom gods the heathen falsely call.
