O f'enaid, boed dy amcan
  Am anian bur y ne -
Cael nefoedd mewn egwyddor
  Yn fwy na'i chael mewn lle:
Rhaid im' wrth galon newydd
  O grëad Ysbryd Duw,
Yn anian nefoedd ynwyf
  Cyn mynd i'r nef i fyw.

At draed yr addfwyn Geidwad
  Mi nesaf fel yr wyf,
Er profi o'r dylanwad
  Sancteiddiol draidd o'i glwyf;
Ond profi'r anfarwoldeb
  Sy'n rhinwedd pur Ei waed,
Nefolir tragwyddoldeb
  Mewn diolch wrth Ei draed.

O my soul, may thy aim be
  For a pure soul of heaven -
Getting heaven in principle is
  More than getting it in a place:
I must have a new heart
  Created by the Spirit of God,
As a soul of heaven in me
  Before going to heaven to live.

To the feet of the dear Saviour
  I shall draw near as I am,
To experience the influence
  Of the sacred penetration of his wound;
But to experience the immortality
  Which is the pure merit of his blood,
Eternity is made heavenly
  In thanks at His feet.
