Fy enaid gwel fath noddfa
O f'enaid gwel fath noddfa

(Gogoneddus drefn yr Iachawduriaeth)
O f'enaid gwel fath noddfa,
  Ddiysgog gadarn yw,
Y'mhob rhyw gyfyngderau,
  Tragwyddol ras fy Nuw;
Ac yma boed fy nhrigfa,
  A'm hyfryd dawel nyth,
Yn nyfnder fy nghystuddiau,
  Sef dan dy aden byth.

Cwymp f'enaid wrth ei orsedd,
  A gorwedd wrth ei draed,
Rhyfedda'r drefn anfeidrol
  Arfaethwyd gan y Tad:
Lle gall'sai ngadael innau,
  Fel yr angylion sy',
Yn berwl mewn cadwynau
  Yn y dyfnderoedd du.

Tra fyddo'r ne'n rhyfeddu
  Dyfnderoedd mawr ei ddawn,
Anfeidrol faith rinweddau
  Yr iachawdwriaeth lawn,
Yn lân rhoent yr anrhydedd,
  Goruchel pur dilyth,
I'r hwn sydd ar yr orsedd,
  A'r Oen, heb flino byth.

Deffrowch fy holl serchiadau,
  A sefwch yn eich lle,
I garu a rhyfeddu
  Tywysog mawr y ne';
Awdwr ein hiachawdwriaeth,
  Pwrcasodd nefol hedd,
Ac er fy mwyn bu'n gorwedd
  Yn dawel yn y bedd.
O f'enaid gwel :: Fy enaid gwel

(The glorious plan of Salvation)
O my soul, see what kind of unshakeable,
  Firm refuge is,
In all kinds of straits,
  The eternal grace of my God;
And may here be my dwelling-place,
  And my delightful, quiet nest,
In the depth of my afflictions,
  That is under thy winds forever.

Fall, my soul, at his throne,
  And lie at his feet,
The wonderful, immeasurable plan
  Was devised by the Father:
Where I could have been left,
  Like the angels that are,
Burning in chains
  In the black depths.

While heaven is wondering
  At the great depths of his gift,
The immeasurable, vast merits
  Of the full salvation,
Holy they give the supreme,
  Pure, sincere honour,
To him who is on the throne,
  And the Lamb, without wearying ever.

Awake, all my affections,
  And stand in your place,
To love and to wonder at
  The great Prince of heaven;
The Author of our salvation,
  Purchased heavenly peace,
And for my sake he lay
  Quietly in the grave.
O my soul, see :: My soul, see
