O filwyr ieuainc dewch i gyd

(Galwad i'r Ieuenctid)
O filwyr ieuainc, dewch i gyd
Yn erbyn Satan, cnawd a byd:
  Os dewch dan
      faner Crist, yn wir,
  Cewch ranu'r ysbail
      cyn bo hir.

Mae'r ienainc yn aberthau byw,
A chymeradwy iawn gan Dduw;
  A llawen gan angelion nef
  Wel'd plant o dan ei faner ef.

O! cofiwch eich Creawdwr mawr,
A rho'wch eich hunain iddo'n awr;
  Mae'n caru plant, a mebyd yw
  Yr amser hoffaf gan ein Duw.

Mae gan Dduw winllan yn y byd;
Dewch, gweithiwch ynddi, mae'n llawnbryd:
  Ar fyr cawn orphwys fry mewn hedd,
  A'n galw i'r dragwyddol wledd.

Tôn [MH 8888]: Samson (Bristol Tune Book 1863)

(A Call to the Young)
O young soldiers, come ye all
Against Satan, flesh and world:
  If ye come under
      the flag of Christ, truly,
  Ye shall get to share the spoil
      before long.

The young are living sacrifices,
And greatly applauded by God;
  And cheerful for the angels of heaven
  To see children under his flag.

O remember your great Creator,
And give yourselves to him now!
  He is loving children, and childhood is
  The time most favoured by our God.

God has a vineyard in the world;
Come ye, work ye in it, it is high time:
  Shortly we shall get rest above in peace,
  And called to the eternal feast.
