O gad im' brofi'th nefol hedd,
  Yn mhob anadliad pur:
Ac felly myn'd o'r byd i'r bedd,
  Mewn hûn nefolaidd wir.

Gwaith hyfryd yw clodfori'r Iôn,
  Ei ras a'i hedd dilyth;
O oes i oes ei fawl a red,
  Mewn sain gorfoledd byth.

Caersalem lòn sy'n llawenhau,
  A'i gwylwyr o un fryd;
A'r anial blin sy'n dysgu cân
  O fawl i Brynwr byd.

  Gwaith hyfyryd yw clodfori'r Iôn
  Ni(s g)all angylion pur y nef

O let me experience thy heavenly peace,
  In every pure breath:
And thus go from the world to the grave,
  In truly heavenly sleep.

A delightful work is extolling the Lord,
  His grace and his unfailing peace;
From age to age his praise shall run,
  In a sound of jubilation forever.

Cheerful Jerusalem is rejoicing,
  With its watchmen of one intent;
And the wearing desert is teaching a song
  Of praise to the Redeemer of the world.
