O'r bedd y cyfododd ein Harglwydd a'n Duw

(Salm XXIV)
O'r bedd y cyfododd
    ein Harglwydd a'n Duw,
Esgynodd i'r nefoedd,
    ac yno mae'n byw;
  Galluoedd y t'wyllwch
      a lusgodd efe
  Yn gaeth hyd at ddrysau
      disgleirwych y ne'.

Fry, fry y côr-gana
    angylion yn llon, -
Dyrchefwch eich pennau
    byrth oesol o'r bron;
  A chwi ymddyrchefwch
      holl ddrysau y nef,
  Mawr Frenin gogoniant,
      croesäwch chwi ef.

Mawr Frenin gogoniant!
    O d'wedwch pwy yw?
Y Nerthol, y Cadarn,
    yr Arglwydd ein Duw;
  Yr Arglwydd sydd gadarn
      mewn rhyfel o hyd
  Gorchfygwr holl uffern,
      ac angau, a'r byd.

Fry, fry y côr-gana
    angylion yn llon, -
Dyrchefwch eich pennau
    byrth oesol o'r bron;
  A chwi ymddyrchefwch
      holl ddrysau y nef,
  Mawr Frenin gogoniant,
      croesäwch chwi ef.

Mawr Frenin gogoniant!
    O d'wedwch pwy yw?
Crewr nefoedd a'u lluoedd
    er amled eu rhyw;
  Iachawdwr plant dynion,
      a'u Prynwr dilyth,
  Mae'n haeddu'r gogoniant
      a'r deyrnas dros fyth.

[Mesur: 11.11.11.11]

(Psalm 24)
From the grave arose
    our Lord and our God,
He ascended to heaven,
    and there he is living;
  The powers of darkness
      he dragged
  Captive as far as the shining
      doors of heaven.

Above, above chorus
    the angels cheerfully, -
Lift up your heads
    everlasting portals completely!
  And be ye lifted up
      all the doors of heaven!
  The great King of glory,
      welcome ye him!

The great King of glory!
    O tell, who is he?
The Strong, the Firm,
    the Lord our God;
  The Lord who is firm
      in war always
  The overcomer of all hell,
      and death, and the world.

Above, above chorus
    the angels cheerfully, -
Lift up your heads
    everlasting portals completely!
  And be ye lifted up
      all the doors of heaven!
  The great King of glory,
      welcome ye him!

The great King of glory!
    O tell who is he?
The creator of heavens and their hosts
    despite how manifold their kind;
  The Saviour of the children of men,
      and the sincere Redeemer,
  He is deserving the glory
      and the kingdom forever.
