Boed iddo mwy
    ganiadau o glod,
Tra nefoedd fawr a dae'r mewn bod;

Ond am yr Oen a'i farwol glwyf.

O! d'weded pawb
    am rīn y gwaed,
Maddeuant llawn, maddeuant rhad;
  Dim achwyn mwy,
Ond canu am glwy' Calfaria fryn.

Of all the blessings the world got,
See, here is the greatest one of all;
  For me Jesus himself
For an unclean man gives his pure life.

So, my soul, henceforth go forward,
Fear thou not water, fear thou not fire;
  He went under the cross,
And the throes of death, Himself before me.

He conquered death with his deadly sword,
He beat great hell and the grave;
  He made a way for me,
On Calvary, from the earth to heaven.

Let there be to him evermore
    songs of praise,
While great heaven and earth are in being;
  And let there be no mention
But of the Lamb and his mortal wound.

Oh, let everyone tell
    of the merit of the blood,
Full forgiveness, free forgiveness;
  No more complaint,
But singing about the wound of Calvary hill.
