Os fy naearol waelaidd dŷ

("Canys ni a wyddom os ein daearol dŷ o'r babell hon
a ddatodir, fod i ni aeilad gan Dduw, sef tŷ nid o
waith llaw, tragwywyddol yn y nefoedd." - 2 Cor v.1)
Os fy naearol, waelaidd dŷ
  Yn raddol sy'n ymddattod,
A'r dydd o'u syrthio'n lân i lawr
  O awr i awr yn dyfod, -

Os pridd a llwych yw'r babell hon
  Ag sydd ym mron dadfeilio,
Mae imi dŷ
    ar amgen sail,
  Oes, oes i ail breswylio.

Y mae i'r rhai a garant Nêr
  Fry uwch y sêr anneddau,
Na fena treiglia amser byth
  Ar eu tragyfyth furiau.

I eigion môr yn haul a syrth,
  Diflanna gwyrth yr wybren;
Bydd yn y nef fy lletty clyd
  Er hyn i gyd yn ddien.

Cyfnewid byth un oed ni wna
  Ar y breswylfa nefol;
A'i sail yn ddewr,
    a'i gwedd yn wyn,
  Ar Sïon fryn trag'wyddol.

("Since we know if our earthy house of this tent be
demolished, that we have a building from God, that is, a
house not made by hand, eternal in the heavens." - 2 Cor 5:1)
If my earthly, lowly house
  Gradually is crumbling,
And the day of its completely falling down
  From hour to hour coming, -

If soil and dust is this tent
  Which in my breast is decaying,
There is for me a house
    on a better foundation,
  Yes, yes there is to reside again.

There are for those who love the Lord,
  Up above the stars, dwellings,
Time shall never finish turning
  On their eternal walls.

To the ocean sea the sun shall fall,
  Disappear shall the miracle of the sky;
In heaven shall be my secure lodging
  Despite all this as destruction.

Never shall one age change
  On the heavenly residence;
With its foundation mighty,
    and its surface white,
  On Zion hill eternally.
