Pa le dechreuaf rifo Dy drugareddau maith? 'Rwyn soddi wrth fyfyrio Dy annherfynol waith; Mor hawsed rhifo'r tywod, Neu'r gwallt sydd ar fy mhen, A rhifo holl fendithion Tywysog mawr y nen. Sawl gwaith gwnest fy niffygion, A'm heisieu fynu'n llawn? Do toraist fy ammheuaeth, Wrth hyny'n rhyfedd iawn: Rhyfeddais, can ryfeddais Barhâd dy ddoniau maith, C'wilyddiaist f'anghrediniaeth, Yn gyfiawn lawer gwaith. Fy ffydd a ballodd ganwaith, A'm hyder ballai 'nghyd, Fy nghalon a fy ngobaith A ballodd lawer pryd; Ni phalla'th drugareddau, Na Dy ragluniaeth lân, Ond Dy ffyddlondeb rhyfedd, A bery fyth yn mlaen. Bob bore dydd o newydd, Achosion wyf yn gael I ganu i'th flyddlondeb, A'th drugareddau hael; Can's beunydd 'r'wyt yn selio Dy addewidion rhâd, Cyflawni'r gwirioneddau A roddwyd yn Dy waed. Byth D'enw gaffo'i foli, Byth bythoedd byddo'th glôd, Can mil o weithiau'n lletach Na'r nefoedd faith ei rhôd; Boed holl blant Adda ar unwaith, Mewn cydsain hyfryd lân, I'th enw gogoneddus Yn gwneyd soniarus gân. Where shall I begin to number Thy vast mercies? I am sinking while meditating on Thy boundless work; As easy to number the sand, Or the hair that is on my head, As to number allthe blessings Of the great Prince of heaven. How many times hast thou made my deficiencies, And my need up fully? Yes, thou didst break my doubt, By this very wonderfully: I have wondered, a hundred times wondered Thy vast talents endure, Thou didst put my unbelief to shame, Rightly many times. My faith has faltered a hundred times, And my confidence would falter with it, My heart and my hope Have faltered many a time; Thy mercies shall never falter, Nor Thy holy Providence, But Thy wonderful faithfulness, Shall endure for evermore. Every morning of the day anew, Occasions I do have To sing of thy faithfulness, And thy generous mercies; Since daily thou art sealing Thy gracious promises, Fulfilling the truths Which were given in Thy blood. Forever may Thy name get praised, Forever and ever be thy acclaim, And hundred thousand of times broader Than heaven with its vast orbit; May all the children of Adam at once be, In a delightful, holy harmony To thy glorious name, Making a resounding song.
