Pan byddo fy ngelynion

(Digonolrwydd yr Aberth)
Pan byddo fy ngelynion
   Yn edliw beiau f'oes,
'Rwy'n codi golwg ffyddiog,
  At haeddiant mawr y groes;
Yn Aberth pen Calfaria
  Mae digon byth, a mwy,
Yn wyneb annheilyngdod,
  A'u hedliwiadau hwy.

Nid oes drwy'r nef, na'r ddaear,
  Ryfeddod mwy i'w gael,
Na gweled llaw trugaredd
  Yn ymgeleddu'r gwael;
Mae uchder cariad dwyfol,
  A dyfnder f'angen i,
Yn hyfryd ymgyfarfod
  Ar fynydd Calfari!
mwy i'w gael :: fwy i'w chael
Ar fynydd Calfari! :: Yn aberth Calfari.

(The Sufficiency of the Sacrifice)
When my enemies are
  Taunting the faults of my lifespan,
I am raising a hopeful look,
  To the great merit of the cross;
In the Sacrifice of the summit of Calvary
  There is sufficient forever, and more,
In the face of unworthiness,
  And their taunts.

There is not, throughout heaven or the earth,
  A greater wonder to be had,
Nor seen a hand of mercy
  Succouring the wretched;
The height of divine love,
  And the depth of my need,
Are delightfully meeting
  On mount Calvary!
::
On mount Calvary! :: In the sacrifice of Calvary.
