Pan caffwyf wel'd y nefol wledd, A phrofi blas dy ddwyfol hedd, 'Rwy'n gwel'd gogoniant mwya'r byd, Fel peth annheilwng o fy mryd. Wel, dyma'r unig fan, fy Nuw, Dymunaf aros tra fwy' byw; Blaen ffrwyth yw hyn o'r hyfryd wledd Gaf ei mwynhau tu draw i'r bedd. When I get to see the heavenly feast, And experience a taste of thy divine peace, I am seeing the world's greatest glory, As something unworthy of my attention. In the vision of heaven above I am valuing things which are precious; When the gates of heaven open I am finding His glory. I am seeing secrets in his blood I never yet got to enjoy; Grace and glory, in Himself, Above anything man ever thought. See, here is the only place, my God, I wish to stay while ever I live; The firstfruits is this of the delightful feast I will get to enjoy beyond the grave. O may my ears be always listening to The quiet secrets of a heavenly world, And my only pleasure day and night, In the deep truths of the cross.tr. 2017 Richard B Gillion |
