Parod yw Duw i faddeu'r bai

Parod yw Duw i faddeu'r bai,
  Sydd yn ei rai anwyla';
Fel ffyddlon Frawd, neu dirion Dad,
  Yn wastad fe a'u cara.

Cânt gerydd
    am eu bai ar g'oedd,
  Cânt yfed
      dyfroedd Mara;
Cystudaiau newydd ddaw bob cam
  I'w cwrddyd am y cynta'.

Ond gyda'i gerydd
    dyry hedd,
  Trugaredd a thiriondeb;
A'i ras i'w blant i gyd
    barhâ
  I eitha' trag'wyddoldeb.

Parod yw Duw i faddeu'r bai,
  Sydd yn ei rai anwyla';
Fel ffyddlon ffrind, neu dirion Dad,
  Yn wastad fe a'u cara.

Canfod y mae ef yn mhob man,
  Ein bai a'n hannoethineb;
Ei feibion y'm, ei ras barhâ,
  I eitha tragwyddoldeb.

Mae ynddo ddwfwn fôr di drai
  O gariad a thosturi;
Mae wrth ei fodd yn trugarhau,
  Er maint yw ein trueni.

Ready is God to forgive the fault,
  Which is in his most beloved;
Like a faithful Brother, or tender Father,
  Constantly he will love them.

They will get chastisement
    for their fault publicly,
  They will get to drink
      the waters of Marah;
New afflictions shall come every step
  To meet them at first.

But with his chastisement
    he will grant peace,
  Mercy and tenderness;
And his grace to all his children
    shall endure
  To the extremity of eternity.

Ready is God to forgive the fault,
  Which is in his most beloved;
Like a faithful friend, or tender Father,
  Constantly he will love them.

He discerns in every place,
  Our fault and our lack of wisdom;
His sons we are, his grace will endure,
  To the extremity of eternity.

In him is a deep, unebbing sea
  Of love and mercy;
He delights in showing mercy,
  Despite how great is our wretchedness.
