Pwy yw hwn? Mae'r gwynt a'r moroedd
  Yn adnabod tôn ei lais,
A rhyferthwy'r blin dymhestloedd
  Sy'n tawelu ar ei gais.

O! llefared Iesu eto
  I dawelu ofnau'r fron;
Doed tangnefedd llawn i drigo
  Yn y galon euog hon.

Pwy yw hwn? Yr addfwyn tyner,
  Cyfaill yr anghenus gwael;
Ni bu neb dan faich gorthrymder
  Yn ei geisio heb ei gael.

Torrodd lwybyr iddo'i hunan
  Drwy ein byd didostur ni;
Dim ond cariad dwyfol anian
  Fedrai'r ffordd i Galfari.

Who is this? The wind and the seas
  Recognize the tone of his voice,
And the torrent of the grievous tempests
  Does quieten at his request.

Oh let Jesus speak again!
  To quieten the fears of the breast;
Let full peace dwell
  In this guilty heart.

Who is this? The gentle, tender
  Friend of the abject needy;
No-one under the burden of oppression
  Requested of him without receiving.

Paths broke for him himself
  Through our merciless world;
Only the love of a divine nature
  Could take the road to Calvary.
