Taened gwir Genadon Iesu

(Yr Achos Cenadol)
Taened gwir Genadon Iesu,
  Air y bywyd tros y byd;
Haul cyfiawnder fo'n tywynu,
  Dros ei gonglau oll i gyd;
    Gair yr Arglwydd,
  Yn ei lwydd a redo 'mlaen.

Sôn am Iesu aed i ddryllio,
  Holl gyndynrwydd India fawr,
Sôn am angeu Crist
    ddymchwelo,
  Gau grefyddau'r byd i lawr;
    Neb ond Iesu,
  Fyddo Brenin dynolryw.

Hen Efengyl f'on prysuro,
  Hilio'r byd yn gyflym iawn;
Coder gweithwyr i ddadseinio,
  Angeu'r groes,
      a'i haeddiant llawn,
    Trefn Cymodi,
  Elo'n gyhoedd dros y byd.

Pelledigion byd fo'n clywed,
  Son am aberth Calfari;
Rhîn y ffynnon sy'n agored
  I bechodau atgas ri;
    Fel bo'r Iesu,
  A'i rinweddau oll yn oll.

(The Missionary Cause)
Let the true Emissaries of Jesus spread
  The word of life across the world;
May the Sun of righteousness be shining,
  Across all its corners altogether;
    The word of the Lord,
  In its success shall run forward.

Let mention about Jesus go to smash,
  All the stubbornness of great India,
Mention about the death of Christ
    shall demolish,
  The false religions of the world down;
    None but Jesus,
  Be King of humankind.

May the old Gospel be hurrying,
  To beget the world very quickly;
Workers are to be raised to resound,
  The death of the cross,
      and its full merit,
    May the plan of Reconciling,
  Go publicly across the world.

May the extremities of the world be hearing,
  Mention about the sacrifice of Calvary;
The virtue of the fount which is opened
  For loathsome sinners of number;
    That Jesus be,
  With his merits, all in all.
tr. 2016 Richard B Gillion
