Teyrnasu mae ein Harglwydd mawr

(Yr Arglwydd sydd yn teyrnsasu)
Teyrnasu mae ein Harglwydd mawr,
  Aed ffwrd ein holl ofidiau'n awr;
Llawenydd lanwo'r ddaear gron,
  A'i holl ynysoedd bras o'r bron.

Cymylau a thywyllwch du
  Yn fynych iawn o'i amgylch sy,
Ond cyfiawn farn
    yw sylfain gref,
  A thrigfa ei orseddfainc ef.

O chwi sy'n caru Duw, casêwch
  Y drwg, a'i lân ewyllys gwnewch
Eneidiau'i saint a geidw'n gu
  Oddiwrth holl faglau uffern ddu.

I'w seintiau hoff yr hauwyd had
  Goleuni pur y nefol wlad;
Lawenydd yn addfedu sy
  O'u cylch fel cnwd i'r nefoedd fry.

(The Lord is reigning)
Reigning is our great Lord,
  Let all our griefs go away now;
My joy flood the round earth,
  And all its fat islands completely.

Clouds and black darkness
  Very often around it are,
But righteous judgment
    is a strong foundation,
  And the dwelling-place of his throne.

O ye who are loving God, hate ye
  The evil, and his holy church make ye
The souls of his saints he will keep dearly
  From all the snares of black hell.

For his favoured saints seed was sown
  The pure light of the heavenly land;
Joy is maturing
  Around them like a crop for heaven above.
