Trag'wyddol glod am eiriau Duw

(Clod i Dduw am ei air)
Trag'wyddol glod am eiriau Duw,
I ddysgu'm henaid iddo fyw;
  Mae rhai'n yn fôr o gysur llawn,
  A goleu dislaer ynddynt cawn.

Mae yma 'stor o drysor dwys,
A lle i'm henaid roi ei bwys
  A chwmwl niwl a cholofn dân,
  I arwain f'ysbryd yn y bla'n.

O Arglwydd arwain fi'n y bla'n,
Yn llwybrau'th dystiolaethau glan;
  Gan waeddi maes,
      trwy'r daith o hyd,
  Efengyl Iesu lanwo'r byd.

Fy nerth yn ngwyneb rhyfel llym,
Yw dy addewid fawr ei grym;
  Er cael fy nghlwyfo'n amal iawn,
  Mae meddyginiaeth ynddi'n llawn.

(Acclaim to God for his word)
Eternal acclaim for the words of God,
To teach my soul to live for him;
  They are a sea full of comfort,
  And a shining light is found in them.

Here there is a deep store of treasure,
And a place for my soul to lean
  And a cloud of fog and a pillar of fire,
  To lead my spirit onwards.

O Lord, lead me onwards,
In the paths of thy holy testimonies;
  Shouting out, throughout
      the length of the journey,
  May the gospel of Jesus flood the world.

My strength in the face of a keen battle,
Is thy promise of great force;
  Although getting wounded very often,
  There is full treatment in it.
