Tydi'r anfeidrol fythol Bôr/Ior

1,(2),3,4.
(Anfeidroldeb Duw)
Tydi'r anfeidrol fythol Bôr,
  Wyt fawredd pur digoll;
Uwch amgyffredion nefol gôr
  Wyt fawredd oll yn oll.

Dy holl weithredoedd yn un sain,
  Fel trwst taranau fyrdd;
Hyd eitha'r nef
    dadseinia'r rhai'n,
  Dy fawredd yn dy ffyrdd.

Am hyn enyned ynom dân,
  Yn fflam o foliant mawr,
A ffrwyth ein cariad fyddo'n gân
  I Dduw bob mynyd awr.
Bor :: Ior

David Bevan Jones (Dewi Elfed) 1807-63

[Mesur: MC 8686]

(The immeasurability of God)
Thou the immeasurable everlasting Chief,
  Art pure, unfailing majesty;
Above the grasp of a heavenly choir
  Thou art the majesty of all in all.

All thy works in one sound,
  Like the noise of a myriad thunders;
As far as the extremity of heaven
    those resound,
  Thy majesty in thy ways.

Therefore kindle in us a fire,
  As a flame of great praise,
And may the fruit of our love be a song
  To God every minute of an hour.
Chief :: Lord
