Tyrd, Ysbryd y datguddiad mawr,
Llewyrcha arnaf fi i lawr
  Ogoniant Calfari;
Rhag imi eto fynd ar ôl
Gwrthrychau fy nychmygion ffôl,
  A chefnu arnat Ti.

Nac aed o'm cof ei chwys a'i loes,
Griddfannau'i enaid ar y Groes
  Er cadw euog ddyn.
O! am gael byw bob awr i'w glod,
Na ad fod gennyf unrhyw nod
  Ond Iesu mawr ei Hun.

Come, Spirit of the great revelation,
Radiate down upon me
  The glory of Calvary;
Lest I go after
The objects of my foolish imaginations,
  And turn my back upon thee.

May I not forget his sweat and his anguish,
The groans of his soul on the cross
  In order to save guilty man.
O to get to live every hour for his praise,
Do not let me have any aim
  But great Jesus himself.
