Tragwyddoldeb mawr yw d'enw
Trag(')wyddoldeb mawr yw'r enw

(Tragwyddoldeb yn Anfesurol)
Tragwyddoldeb! - mawr yw'r enw,
  Mawr yw'r anfesurol daith;
Nid yw oesoedd byd, a'i elw,
  Ddim wrth dragwyddoldeb maith!
Byth ni fedraf ei amgyffred:
  Ond fy nghysur rhag ei fraw
Ydyw'r Un fu ar Galfaria -
  Tragwyddoldeb sy'n ei law!

             - - - - -
              1,(2),3.

Trag'wyddoldeb, mawr yw d'enw
  Ti mae'n sicr fydd fy lle!
Teithiwr un diwrnod ydwyf,
  Fry bo'm cartref yn y ne'!
Mae'm diwrnod bron a gorphen,
  Mae fy haul bron myn'd i lawr;
Mae pob awel yn fy chwythu,
  Tua thrag'wyddoldeb mawr.

Dysgwyl pethau gwych i ddyfod,
  Croes i hyny maent yn d'od,
Meddwl fory daw gorfoledd,
  Fory'r tristwch mwya' erioed;
Meddwl byw, ac eto marw,
  Yw'r lleferydd dan fy mron;
Bob yn ronyn mi ro'f ffarwel,
  Ffarwel glân i'r ddaear hon.

Gwna fi'n foddlon iawn i 'madael,
  Trefna'r awr a threfna'r fan,
Ond yn ymchwydd yr Iorddonen,
  Dal fy ysbryd llesg i'r làn;
N'âd fi soddi dan y tònau,
  Pan fo angeu'n fawr ei rym,
Dwg fi trwodd yn dy freichiau,
  N'âd i'm henaid ofni dim.
Ti mae'n sicr :: Ti yn fuan
soddi :: suddo

(Eternity as Immeasurable)
Eternity! - great is the name,
  Great is the immeasurable journey;
Neither the world's ages, nor its profit,
  Are anything compared with vast eternity!
I shall never be able to grasp it:
  But my comfort against its terror
Is the One who was on Calvary -
  Eternity is in his hand!

                 - - - - -

Eternity, great is thy name,
  Thou, it is sure, shalt be my place!
I traveller of one day am I,
  Above be my home in heaven!
My day is almost finished,
  My sun is almost gone down;
Every breeze is blowing me
  Towards a great eternity.

Expecting brilliant things to come,
  Contrary to this they are coming,
Thinking tomorrow jubilation shall come,
  Tomorrow the greatest sadness ever;
Thinking of living, and yet dying,
  Is the utterance under my breast;
Every moment I bid farewell,
  Farewell completely to this earth.

Make me very content to leave,
  Arrange the hour and arrange the place,
But in the swelling of the Jordan,
  Hold my feeble spirit up;
Do not let me sink under the waves,
  When death comes with its great force,
Lead me through in thy arms,
  Do not let my soul fear anything.
Thou, it is sure, :: Thou soon
